All now local Sonoma County residents.Geoff Whyte - Drummer/VocalistGeoff hails from New Bedford, Massachusetts and has had the pleasure of working with such artists as J.J. Jackson of “It's Alright” fame, Chubby and The Turnpikes (later known as Tavarez), Odia Coates (“Havin' My Baby” [Paul Anka duet]), Richie Cole, Shuggie Otis, Les Paul, Charles McPherson, and last but certainly not least the late great Mr. Eddie Harris.Tim Haggerty - Keyboard and BassTim's in-demand skills as a keyboard and bass player led to collaborations with several popular recording artists. Jesse Colin Young tapped his arranging skills for several of his recording projects, and Jewell for her performance at the Super Bowl.He also plays regularly with his brother Terry Haggerty, the legendary guitarist from the Sons of Champlin, and with his son, Aaron Haggerty, who tours as drummer with Al McKay from Earth, Wind & Fire. Most recently Tim has performed on keyboards with Huey Lewis guitarist Chris Hayes & saxophonist Michael Bolivar, and written the soundtrack for an upcoming Hewlett Packard video. David Scott - Tenor Sax and FluteHis musical explorations have led David to play tenor sax and flute in multiple musical styles: jazz, zydeco, rock & roll and big band.For the past 20 years David has been a lead instrumentalist and vocalist for Sonoma County's zydeco dance band, Gator Beat. Randy Quan - GuitarMany around the world have enjoyed Randy Quan's distinctive and toneful guitar stylings featured in his work as lead guitarist with Booker T. Jones to Chicago blues legend, Billy Boy Arnold.Randy has performed with renowned saxophonist Michael Bolivar, internationally recorded bassist Eddie Watkins, Jr., virtuoso vocalist Terry Bradford, and many others, and continues to perform and tour with Zydeco/funk group, Gator Beat. Fluent in blues, R&B, world, and jazz, Randy has been referred to by jazz radio host/vocalist Elena Welch as the “Ambassador of Style.” An avid guitar enthusiast, you will hear it in his taste, economy, and sweet sound colors. Which guitar will he be playing this week? Brenda Reed - Special guest vocalistSpecial guest vocalist Brenda Reed is a Sonoma county- based award winning singer and actress who has performed all over the country. She sang at the SF Pride 2011 event on the Mainstage for thousands of people at the one of the country's biggest events. She has performed and recorded with some of the finest jazz ensembles in the North Bay as well as claiming first prize at the Sonoma County Fair Singing Competition in 2009.Hooking up with the local Blues scene a few years back, she sang for The Bonafide Blue playing high profile Blues Festivals, opening for the likes of Elvin Bishop and Volker Strifler. In a few words, her style is sultry, high-energy virtuosity, singing jazz to funk to blues. Recently, Brenda is delighted to be singing with Sonoma County's, Collaboration Jazz Band!
